Passionate Plant Based Chef

Ritchie Stainsby is a plant-based chef, Masterchef the Professionals finalist and content creator celebrated for his bold flavours, seasonal cooking, and innovative approach to plant-based cuisine.

He was the co-founder and head chef of No.Twelve, an award-winning plant-based restaurant that quickly became a cornerstone of Nottingham’s dining scene and a pioneer in the UK’s vegan movement. Under Ritchie's leadership, No.Twelve earned national recognition for its inventive tasting menus, zero-waste ethos, and commitment to sustainability — winning multiple Good Food Awards and setting a new standard for plant-based dining.

In 2021, Ritchie also co-founded Faux, a groundbreaking plant-based butcher and deli that further pushed the boundaries of what vegan food could be. After successfully building and growing both brands, Ritchie made the bold decision to close Faux and step away from the day-to-day operations of restaurant life to pursue a new direction.

Now, he focuses on sharing his passion through supper clubs, international retreats, and compelling digital content. Whether he's cooking over open fire in a field, creating cinematic recipe reels, or designing immersive tasting menus on the road, Ritchie’s mission remains the same: to make plant-based food exciting, joyful and unforgettable — for everyone.
